Paula + Matthew Engagement Session | The Historic Pearl in San Antonio

Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite engagement sessions because this was my FIRST engagement session where I didn’t have to ask some couple friends of mine if I could take their photos because these two were my first real clients! Additionally, anyone wanting to take photos at The Historic Pearl are my kind of people because I love going to the Pearl on weekends, weekdays, basically any day. Whenever Paula told me Matthew proposed to her at the Historic Pearl, I thought it would be a great idea to choose that same location for their engagement shoot, especially since they were unsure of where to go. There was a lot of pressure to make sure I chose the right place for them and I’m so glad we chose this location. We met up at the Historic Pearl and it was very apparent that we were going to be fast friends, especially since Paula works for the same school district I do (yes, I’m a teacher as well as a photographer, in case you didn’t know that fun fact about me)!

Paula and Matthew were so sweet and fun. I can already tell I’ll attract clients I want to be friends with and they are no exception. Even though this is the first time we met, I felt like I already knew them! I love how their photos turned out, and I can’t wait for you all to see the love between these two!
